Situated in the heart of the garden city of Uvongo, between Shelley Beach and Margate on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa; 8 on Konrad’s four-star self-catering accommodation will let you have a holiday in style and comfort. With 6 stunningly finished air conditioned rooms (3 en-suite) there is ample space for up to 12 people to spend some time relaxing in our home away from home atmosphere.

Enjoy the breaker and sea view while you search the waters for a rising whale or enjoy a golden sunset from our wrap around balcony. Cool off in our splash pool or walk 200m to the beach where children can splash in the rock pools. Go a little further to Uvongo/Manaba main beaches for a swim in the breakers.

The main kitchen is fully equipped (including catering equipment for large families and functions) and we offer a laundry facility. The huge lounge along with a 12-seat dining room (including large serving area), is surrounded by a spacious patio with braai facilities overlooking the tropical garden. Hidden under the staircase is a kiddie’s corner with books and toys to keep children occupied during rainy days (we also have a baby cot, linen and a feeding chair).

8 on Konrad is an environmentally conscious establishment with natural organic toiletries and filtered water throughout the house as well as having rain harvesting water tanks. We have secure parking, CCTV, outside motion beams and alarm system with 24-hour armed response so that you have peace of mind during your stay.
